Fran has a passion for sport and getting active outdoors, whether he's playing rugby; on a winter trek in the mountains; or on a bike ride along the Thames.

Prior to qualifying as a Personal Trainer in 2005 and setting up Fran Sirl Fitness he worked in financial services, property, IT, marketing and hospitality management. So he understands the challenges of staying fit and healthy whilst often spending long periods of the day at a desk, travelling or entertaining clients. 


Fran also appreciates the “time for me” challenge presented by family life after the first of his three fabulous daughters (the 'Sirl Girls') arrived in 2004.

Fran was one of the first Nordic Walking UK instructors in 2006. His Nordic Fitness sessions offer a gentle to high intensity workout depending on your fitness by applying the Nordic technique to:

licenced royal parks trainer

Fran has been a licenced Royal Parks trainer and worked in fabulous Richmond Park since 2007, so he knows it inside out! Prior to that he regularly walked his dog in the park as well. We meet in the Pembroke Lodge car park, which has free parking, toilets and cafe facilities.
 
The park was created by Charles I and is the largest of London's Royal Parks, covering around 2500 acres. We always meet at the Pembroke Lodge car park, where there are toilet and cafe facilities.
